THE ADINKRA SYMBOL “CHARISMA”
Our soul is longing primordially for the knowledge and the wisdom in all their forms and manifestations. Our earthly experience is an integral part from the process of growth and awakening of our essence. Walking along the path of wisdom, however, we become more confident, when we follow our own direction, encouraged and supported by those, who already had faced this wisdom. Such people radiate a quiet, warm and silent glow which makes us love them and honor them as particularly special creatures. In the mystical African system of symbols Adinkra a central place is given to the three concentric circles, which in one of their semantic manifestations represent the meaning of charisma. Charismatic natures emit an unobtrusive happiness, which, however, has the power to fascinate and infect conclusively. Such happiness can be achieved only when we are able to bring into harmony the fields of our feelings, thoughts and actions; when we fill them with unconditional love and light.
